Hello fellow artists of deviantart, this year marks the 10 years since i have joined the community to share my work, be inspired by other people's work and enjoying what we have to offer to each other. No i am not planning on quitting deviantart, deleting my account and such, all i want to say is that i was planning on creating a portofolio for future professional work and i was thinking of changing my profile name to something more grown up, something that represents me, i feel like queenmariann is a bit childish and i have kinda grown out of it, need of a fresh start. My choice of name would be Marianna ryume, since i wanted to keep my original name but i needed an artistic last name so people will know how to call me, ryume combines the kanji of 竜 (Ryū) meaning dragon and 夢 (Yume) meaning dream. I chose this last name because of me great love for dragons and japan and because some of my artwork is inspired from my dreams and imagination and because i tend to be a bit of a dreamer, otherwise i may go with simple yume. You may also find me on artstation once i create an account.

My recent absence from the site and slower activity is courtesy of me studying to become a 3d animator and if lucky a comic illustrator, it is a satisfying and some could say rewarding process when you give dimension and life to an otherwise non existent character/creature, especially when you add movement and a voice, it's like the sketch from paper comes to like, my hope is to create something people will remeber like kazuki takahashi's yugioh, hayao miyazaki's work and my main inspiration monty oum's RWBY.

I have also been working on a comic ( manga ) that i might be publishing if all goes well.
